Fe Delos Santos attended the University of California at Davis. She received her J.D. from Martin Luther King, Jr. Hall - UC Davis School of Law. She joined Asian American Studies in 1996, after working in a variety of settings from a litigation firm in Sacramento and the Asian Law Caucus in Oakland and San Francisco, to the Legal Aid Society representing lower income women and families in Hartford and Tolland counties, to interning at CT Public Radio and Public Access TV, to running a cooperative day care center. Her responsibilities at the Institute include writing and editing its annual newsletter The Asian American; providing research support for and implementing its programs and initiatives; writing grants; and assisting in faculty searches, conference planning and representing the Institute in community and media relations.
